What do we know about painful burning feet?
If you have painful burning feet, you might have a type of nerve damage called Peripheral Neuropathy. It is a common complication of diabetes or alcohol abuse. An estimated 7 million Americans have burning pain in their feet caused by this nerve damage. Aside from pain and discomfort, when left untreated this damage can lead to falls, foot ulcers, and loss of limb in severe cases.

What treatments work?
Until recently, Peripheral Neuropathy was considered irreversible. But medical research has discovered that stimulation from infrared therapy, along with standard rehabilitation treatment, can reduce pain and increase circulation to these damaged nerves.
