Chuck Cascio "Chuck Cascio has made major improvements to the building. In the short time he has been at Eden Springs, he has improved both the living and working environment. Both the employees and staff are much happier." - Cathy Benardella I joined Eden Springs in July
2008 and have been in Health Care Management for over 17 years. Almost
immediately after joining Eden Springs I could see how caring &
compassionate the staff was. That's where the phrase "Experience the
Personal Touch" comes from as I truly believe the staff treats the
patients like family and go above and beyond the call of duty. After
living in Tallahassee for over 14 years, I am very excited about the
opportunity at Eden Springs and look to continue making Eden Springs a
first-class health care provider in Wakulla County. On a personal note, I
keep very busy in my spare time with 8 wonderful children from age 2 to 15
and a wonderful wife who home schools the older children. I am a native of
Chalmette, LA (New Orleans) and an avid LSU fan and alumni.
Tom Bentley Tom has been working for Eden
Springs as their Admissions Liaison since October 2008. Tom is so excited
and grateful to be working and serving his neighbors in Wakulla County. He
relishes every occasion to discuss all topics related to Eden Springs and
is so proud of the many significant improvements Eden Springs has made
throughout 2009. Tom says, "I can't wait to build on these successes in
2010. It is so rewarding to see the faith and trust residents of Wakulla
continue to demonstrate in Eden Springs staff's ability to provide their
loved ones with exceptional nursing care and the comfortable living
environment that they deserve." Working for Eden Springs has been an
answered prayer for Tom. He feels blessed as he continues to pursue his
passion of ensuring that the people of Wakulla receive the finest health
care possible. Deanna Powell Deanna began working at Eden
Springs in December of 2008. Though she was born in Alabama, Deanna spent
every summer here in Wakulla County. She has twelve years of nursing
experience and has traveled all over the United States under various
nursing contracts. "Still, it sure feels good to come home." Deanna said,
"It is my honor and privilege to serve the people of Crawfordville and
Wakulla County. Thank you for believing in Eden Springs." Deanna invites
you to browse the Eden Springs website, made possible by the Web Design
Class of 2009-2010, and headed by Breda
Arnell of Wakulla High School. Cathy Benardella "Cathy is the driving force behind Eden Springs' superior care." - Chuck Cascio Originally hailing from New Jersey, Cathy moved to Florida in 2001, and began her work since the first of January in 2002, Cathy has accomplished much over her career, earning herself the position of D.O.N. (Director of Nursing) in 2004. She loves her job, and absolutely enjoys working with the elderly.
Donna Davis Donna Davis brings her dog Zeke to Eden Springs two or three
times a week. Zeke adds to the loving and fun atmosphere that defines the
character of Eden Springs. "The patients just light up when Zeke is
around," says Donna. Pet Therapy provides a source of comfort and focus
for attention. Animals make the patients feel safe and bring out the
nurturing instinct that many residents do not typically get the chance to
use.
Laura Register Laura Register has seen a lot change since the new
management has taken over. She says that Eden Springs is an outstanding
rehabilitation center and nursing home, and that its' compassionate family
environment makes it so much different than most other places. "There is
more love here at Eden Springs and the staff isn't just concentrated on
getting the job done," Laura says. Since every department is getting
involved, there's a lot more one-on-one care here at Eden Springs. |
